Westway LAB's artist residencies bring together, every year, in the Creative Centre of Candoso, Guimarães, 4 working groups made up of 3 artist-musicians each, with 4 projects from Portugal matched to 4 international projects, with the goal of songwriting and composing a 30-minute show of entirely new collaborative material to be presented at the Festival on the dates of April 10 and 11. So, from April 1st, the groups shall commence their creative adventure at CCC, visit www.westwaylabfestival.com for additional information.

Westway LAB is Portugal's first showcase festival, and also the first festival in Portugal to actively promote Portuguese artists within the ETEP - Eurosonic network (European Talent Exchange Programme). Since 2018, Westway LAB is also a partner in the INES project - Innovation Network of European Showcases. With AMAEI, the Portuguese Independent Trade Association, as its PRO conference partner, it is the premier destination to come and introduce yourself to the Portuguese Music Industry.
