Beatriz Nunes (PT)
Beatriz Nunes is a Portuguese singer and songwriter. She released her first album in 2018 - "Canto Primeiro", a collection of songs of her writing and new arrangements for some classic songs like "A canção da paciência" from renowned artist José Afonso's. The also included also creations for poems by contemporary Portuguese poets like "Para-me de repente o pensamento" by Angelo de Lima or "Senhora do Ó" by Margarida Vale de Gato.
She started singing at an early age when she was 9 and then learned guitar. Beatriz has a degree in Music, with vocal jazz variation and teaches singing at the Jazz School of Barreiro, her hometown. She also lends her voice in the lates two records from Madredeus.
