Europe in Synch 2.0 enhances the professional capacity
of European artists, composers, their labels and music publishers in the Synch
field, Synch being the art of licensing music for the use in audio-visual
programmes, whether in film, television, advertising or video-games. Promoting
the utilisation of culturally diverse European Music content in new
audio-visual productions, Europe in Synch 2.0 will follow up on its 2019/2020
Music Moves Europe preparatory action: It will bring into motion a curated
process of educating, of networking, connecting, and communicating, of creative
and legal consulting, brokering and monetisation, to open the way towards an
optimised Synch business environment for artists, composers and European SME’s.
EinS will work towards territorially bespoke, but universal in principle,
Synch-business scenarios by bringing together the “Music” (European rights owners
and composers) with the “Opportunities'' (advertising and TV/ film
production, now with video-games also included via the wider expertise of the
new Consortium members). The project will feature the EinS Academy, continuing
the day-long workshops featuring catalysts from the film, advertising and
gaming sectors, it will upgrade the EinS outreach Networking and Prospecting at
other creative industry events (including those from client sectors), establish
a regular EinS Lab creative industries event, and develop the EinS Platform for
communicating and disseminating the project, as well as fostering new
connections and synch briefings for EU labels and publishers. A Synch
Observatory for the continuous analysis and evaluation will also be launched as
part of the project. Europe in Synch 2.0 explicitly implements and supports
inclusion and diversity practices, as well as adapting the key sustainable
development goals to its music sector activities via a proactive running thread
of cross-cutting priorities that will be overseen by one of the Consortium
members.
